Mount Faito and the Molar Path, but also the Holy Water Cavern and the stunning panorama

From funicolar railway station, we head for the mountain peak which leads us to Saint Michele’s Church. This walk gives you breath-taking landscapes above Vesuvius and Campania’s plain.

During this walk, you can admire Holy Water Cavern. Here, some time ago, there was a Devil and his house which were destroyed by the archangel Saint Michele. In fact, the legend deadl with the creation of the Holy Water River thanks to Saint Michele’s sword in the rock during the battle against the Devil.

After that, we go for Saint Michele Mountain, also called “Molar” because of its shape similar to a tooth. From the peak of the mountain, your eyes will be totally fascinated by the stunning view upon the two gulfs, Naples and Salerno one. A little breack there and then we go back to the funicular railway station.
