La Valle dell’Imbuto

Imbuto Valley is an enchanted valley full of vegetation and different wild flowers, reachable from Caprile Square.

In the Middle Age, a lot of streams met in the aqueduct which is still there now and whose purpose was carryng products.

The valley represents a particular ecosystem where rare plants and animals live. After of the eruption of Vesuvius in 79DC, a new rock originated from volcanic ash and pumice: the Durece.

We continue until the Medieval Village, where Sain Maria Assunta del Castro Church dominates the scene. Here the King and the queen of Naples kingdom lived. After that, we go for the old mule track where old mill milled flour while the old vestige obtained enough energy to make everythinh work
